Junior Artistic World Championships - First results Figures

After two days of hard work and of changes of schedule due to a very bad floor condition, today the competitions started. Following the results.
This year Junior Championships provided a big challenge for all concerned - skaters, trainers, organizeres, and officials, due to condition of the floor, because it was not in an acceptable condition for skating (it was very slippery). Changes had to be made to the programme so the organizers could fix the floor problem. Finally the Junior figures competition commenced on Wendsday the 12th of november at 9.30 in the morning.
Overall standard was satisfactory for the majority of the skaters with the top skaters in Ladies and Mens figures exhibiting a very good level. Not many surprises on the podium.
Ladies podium still leaded by Germany followed by two USA girls.
Men with gold medal won by Italy followed by Germany and again Italy for the bronze medal.
Tonight the competition of pairs, dance and solo dance.
