Final results for InLine and Ladies Figures in Freiburg

The first medals for the 54th World Championships.
The Junior Ladies Figures was a long competition. 32 the skaters participating and very hard the job for the 7 judges. Since the beginning the fight has been between the Italian skater Giulia Fornai, the US skater Jennifer Feuerstein and the German skater Jana Kopp. The Italian skater and the American have been alternating in the first position for each of the 4 figures. At the end the big advantage Giulia Fornai gained on the Counter and a good second and fourth figure brought her the Gold Medals for this World meeting.
The Inline competition confirmed the first positions of the Short Programme. Clean with high technical level the performances of the two gold medalist :Gustavo Casado Malo from Brazil for the mens and Silvia Marangoni from Italy for the ladies. Their ability in presenting a complete programme with both jumps and spins of high level made their programmes deserving a Gold medal. To underline the performances of the US girl Natalie Motley (silver medal) and the Chinese Taipei girl Chia- Ling Hsin (bronze medal) for the ladies. In the mens Carlos Urquia (bronze medal) from Argentina presented a complete triple Flip and a high level combination with double Axel and double Loop a little poor his spins , while Enric Traonouez with good spins, good jumps even with some imperfections and great elegance in the choreography, won the silver medal.
